RUBEN WEYTJENS

Ruben Weytjens was born on January 26, 1978 in Bree and grew up in the pleasant village of Opitter.
After obtaining his master's degree in electronics at the Hogeschool Limburg in Diepenbeek, he went to work for Philips in Hasselt, Heerlen and Eindhoven, among other places.
His last degree-related job as a developer of E-readers at IRX Innovations (previously iRex Technologies) ended in September 2012, after which he was able to devote himself full-time to the weather. He does so from his current residence in Neeroeteren.

Ruben Weytjens is a weatherman from Belgian Limburg, who is very passionate and therefore very professional about delivering an absolute value-added weather report for Limburg. He does this independently from his one-man business, but that does not prevent him from providing updates based on the latest developments 365 days a year, from morning to evening. Even when he is working as a guide in Lapland, Northern Norway, Iceland or Greenland.
Ruben's weather report can be found on his website www.rubenweytjens.be and his Facebook page.

Then at the end of 2008, the newspaper Het Belang van Limburg came knocking on his door with the request to take care of the weather talk on hbvl.be 7 days a week.
Meanwhile, Ruben has also long been the regular weatherman for the printed newspaper.
